The Domestic Violence Services Network (DVSN) will be holding its Winter Advocate Training from: February 24, 2014 through March 17, 2014.
DVSN is a community-based organization that works in collaboration with the Police Departments of its ten member towns (Acton, Bedford, Boxborough, Carlisle, Concord, Lexington, Lincoln, Maynard, Stow, and Wayland), Hanscom AFB and Concord District Court to combat Domestic Violence. Our Advocates provide direct service to domestic violence survivors over the phone and at Concord District Court.
Our 3-week + 1 day, 40-hour classroom training is held at the Concord Police Department. Another 12 to 14 hours of supervised field training will take place after successful completion of the classroom segment.
From February 24, 2014 through March 17, 2014 training sessions will be held on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6:30pm – 9:30pm and on Saturdays from 9:00am – 3:30pm.
